FCA Member media trip to the Hunter Valley was an opportunity to talk to the Scarborough Spokespersons Liz Riley and Jerome Scarborough. It was a jam packed information on Australian modern wine making using sustainable methods and technology. It was a beautiful winter day with a cellar door tasting before the members headed back to Sydney in a chartered bus.

About

Scarborough Winery

Over 40 years ago winemaker Ian Scarborough and his young wife Merralea visited the Hunter Valley.
Scarborough Wine Co. remains a thriving family business.

An early 1970’s visit to the Hunter Valley had driven Ian and Merralea in the proceeding years to grow one of the most successful family owned wine companies in the Hunter Valley. This video also shows how Jerome and Sally Scarborough’s passion for the wine business began at an early age and now sees both of them working in the Scarborough Wine Co. business.
