FCA Christmas Dinner 2025

FCA members gathered recently for our highly-anticipated Christmas Dinner, enjoying a special night of celebration and camaraderie at a private, premier venue on Tuesday, 16 December.

This year’s gathering was a poignant one. In light of the tragic events at Bondi, several of our colleagues were unable to join us as they remained on the front lines of reporting. We were reminded of the tireless nature of our profession as even some attendees remained on duty, laptops open, ensuring the news was delivered.

A major highlight of the evening was the incredible array of prizes and gifts awarded to our members. Thanks to the generous support of our FCA sponsors, many attendees walked away with exclusive items, making the festive celebration even more memorable.

Despite the challenges, FCA ended our 40th-anniversary year on a high note. From two commemorative exhibitions (presented at UTS, Sydney and National Press Club, Canberra) to trips and briefings, it has been a year to remember. We are ready to head into 2026 with energy and excitement!
